Shadow Hands are a brand new duo on the Z Management roster - an exciting new addition! You might not recognise the name yet but you might know them as individuals.

 

Shadow Hands is made up of the very talented Bnann (also known as DZ Watts) and Gareth Young. Between them they write (both topline and track), produce and mix across a multitude of genres. Gareth plays drums, bass and piano and Bnann plays guitar.

 

Together, and apart, Shadow Hands have worked on projects ranging from:

Pop (Appleton - their #2 hit "Fantasy" - Kita Alexander, Foxes, Sugababes, Dannii Minogue, Charlie XCX, Boyzone)

Dance (Armin Van Buuren, Alex Metric, Steve Angelo, James Newman)

R&B (Dan Caplen ft. Ray BLK - their amazing collaboration "Flat Champagne")

Alternative/rock (Orla Gartland, The Lost Hours, Toploader, Tom Meighan).

 

Between them, they have also written with the likes of Rag 'n Bone Man, Tom Grennan, Zak Abel, Macklemore and Pixie Lott.

 

Bnann and Gareth recently scored their first UK top 10 album as a duo and, impressively, it was the first album they had worked on as a partnership. The album is former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan's debut solo album, "The Reckoning", which was also a critical success. In addition to their mainstream/commercial success, Shadow Hands are no strangers to creating music for sync. They have had their hands in creating bespoke compositions for brand campaigns such as Nike, Apple, Mazda, 3 and Renault. 

 

Bnann and Gareth are published by Sarah Liverage at Bucks Music and have access to their writing studios there. The duo are able to do sessions in both London and Cornwall, where Gareth has created a stunning residential studio, which has a G-Series SSL desk.
